According to structural design, tire shredders can be classified into single-shaft, double-shaft, and multi-shaft shredders.
The machine reduces the size of waste tires through shearing, tearing, and extrusion, preparing the material for downstream processing.
The shredder features low speed, high torque, and low noise operation. The system supports automatic start/stop and reverse control, and is equipped with an automatic reversal function in case of overload, effectively protecting the equipment from damage.
Main Components & Features
1. Shredder Main Body
The main frame is constructed from high-quality steel plates, which undergo stress-relief treatment and precision machining.
This ensures excellent structural strength and long-term stability under continuous heavy-duty operation.
2. Rotary Blades & Fixed Blades
The rotary blades are manufactured from special alloy tool steel, forged as blanks and processed through precision machining, multiple heat treatments, and cryogenic treatment.
This results in uniform hardness and toughness, allowing repeated repair and reuse while maintaining excellent cutting performance and extended service life.
The fixed blades adopt a hook-type mounting design, making maintenance and replacement quick and convenient.
3. Bearings & Sealing System
The bearing housing adopts a split-type design, allowing quick disassembly of key components such as rotary blades, fixed blades, and bearings, which greatly simplifies maintenance.
A specially designed sealing structure effectively prevents shredded materials and grease contamination, ensuring reliable protection of bearings and gears—even when processing wet or semi-liquid materials.
4. Shredder Shaft
The shaft is made of high-strength heavy-duty alloy steel with precision machining.
It is optimally designed to work with the blades, providing powerful cutting force and stable performance during operation.
